Synopsis
Cornelia, who married the aged Marquis Meitner at a young age, became the marchioness. When her husband dies, she thinks she’s finally free—but with no heir, she’s forced to return the title and faces the prospect of being left penniless. Determined to secure her future, Cornelia sets out a daring plan at her husband’s funeral: seduce one of the three captivating men who appear, and bear an heir. Isaac, the naïve commoner medical student. Richard, the decadent poet whose words and bedroom skills warm the beds of noble ladies. And Theodore, the ambitious duke who seeks to conquer Cornelia for himself. “I endured ten years—only to be told to fall into the arms of another old man?” “Duke Theodore is a young duke. And—his chest is bigger than yours.” “You should have led with that.” As the three men come to know Cornelia, her bold and mischievous charm irresistibly draws them in. But in the end— Which one of them will remain by her side?
